My name is Therese (pronounced ter • ez), and I believe we live in very exciting times. As a product design leader in mixed reality and a technology enthusiast, I feel called to inspire teams to action through articulating a vision of the future. My career in design is deeply meaningful and motivating, in that the people-centeredness of design mirrors a personal mission to be a force for good and produce beautiful, inspiring technology products of lasting value that drive the world forward. I enjoy pushing passion and strengths to their max potential for not only teams, but also myself, and leverage an appetite for learning, curiosity, and ambition to ‘get things done’ using organized systems and frameworks.
As a UX pro and XR visionary — gaming inspires me. A few favorite titles include Minecraft (I was a beta player), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Batman: Arkham VR, and Fez. I also enjoy CrossFit — which is much like UX design because it is process-driven, people-focused, data-informed, humbling, requires grit, and emphasizes continuous improvement.
